6 Things To Do The Day of Your Wedding

01.20.14

6 Things To Do The Day of Your Wedding: Memorable Moments on Your Big Day!

1.) Starbucks.

We’ve all seen (and love) the iconic Starbucks cup with “Bride” written on it. Don’t forget to visit your nearest Starbucks location the day of your wedding for your favorite cup of joe to start your big day off on a perfect, photo-opp moment. By yourself or with your girls!

2.) PUT DOWN THE PHONE.

This means Social Media too! Don’t miss out on a single moment of your biggest day posting a photo, or clever status on your favorite app. Leave that to your bridal party and guests!

Warning: Remind everyone to hold off posting any photos of the bride until AFTER the ceremony. You wouldn’t want your big reveal to be ruined by an eager post to Social Media!

We recommend leaving the last of any communication between you and your fiancé to the night before the wedding; save the excitement and anticipation for that indescribable first-look!

3.) Love notes.

Take a few moments, maybe while sipping your Starbucks.. to write your spouse-to-be a sweet love note on your wedding day! Exchanging these sweet messages will make for a must-have photo as well as an anticipation-building moment between the bride and groom before meeting at the altar.

4.) Eat (and hydrate). Don’t forget to drink lots of water and eat something on the day of your wedding! With so much going on and emotions running hight, it can be easy to forget to stay fed and hydrated! You’ve spent months planning and selecting delicious food for your guests, don’t forget to enjoy it yourself!

We suggest having someone set aside an assortment of food and lots of water for the bride and groom (and the bridal party) to ensure the stars of the show have a moment to enjoy their food and stay hydrated.

5.) Thank Mom and Dad for EVERYTHING.

Chances are your parents have done more for you and in preparation for your wedding day than you could ever imagine. Be sure to take a moment to thank them, maybe even present them with a gift, to thank them for all that they’ve done. Remember everything they have done for you over the years; this day is an important and emotional one for them too! Take a moment to show them your appreciation, it will mean so much!

6.) ENJOY.

Finally, remember to enjoy your big day! You’ve planned and waited for your wedding day, probably since you were a little girl, be sure not to miss a single moment, it flies!
